Tightening green legislation, volatile energy costs and corporate sustainability goals are putting pressure on European occupiers and investors to rethink the efficiency of their warehouses.

According to JLL’s research 61% of Europe’s warehouse stock is over 10 years old and unable to meet occupier demand for greener spaces.

Retrofitting is viable solution to reduce the risk of obsolescence, but it comes with significant capital expenditures.
