Matthew has held various executive position having worked and led teams across Africa and in the United Kingdom. This has involved key strategic roles across project deliver and the management of business and project teams.
Matthew has experience that covers multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality and mission critical facilities – Data Centres and Healthcare. His expertise is a particular focus on planning and delivery strategy from pre-development to construction of Capital Projects.
Experience
Matthew started is career gaining experience with an International General Contractor where he held the role of commercial engineer for projects across Africa and in the United Kingdom – thereafter holding a Project Director position for a global design firm. This role included the delivery of Design & Build projects through the bid, planning and delivery stages of the project.
This was followed by various consulting roles as a Strategic Advisor for Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) in the UK and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) for the Department of Health, South Africa
More recently Matthew has played an integral role in the management of teams and projects across Sub-Saharan and North Africa – including project controls, planning & programming, cost reporting, design management, risk management and reporting.
